Combining the Early Years Framework Stage (EYFS) curriculum with outdoor, child-directed play, our nursery sessions give children the opportunity to grow and learn in a practical, hands-on way.

Our qualified practitioners curate engaging sessions that spark the imagination and allow children to thrive in all seven stages outlined by the EYFS curriculum to help shape their formative years and prepare them for life.

BBC Children in Need Day serves as a powerful reminder of the crisis in children’s mental health.
Alarming statistics show that over 75% of adult mental health issues begin before the age of 18 and that there are 3 in 10 children now with mental health issues.
Yet, our education system, with its intense focus on outcomes, testing and homework, often overlooks the emotional needs of young minds. In our forest nursery and camps for children up to age 9, we witness first-hand how play, joy, and connection are essential for mental health and healthy development. Research supports what we see daily: play stimulates the brain, reduces stress and contributes to long-term well-being and happiness. Studies even suggest that our brains can learn up to 20% faster when joy and play are part of the process. This is why we’re on a mission to create nurturing environments where children can explore, collaborate and grow at their own pace. Our advocacy is more than just a call for play; it’s a call for education reform that values well-being as highly as grades.
We need more unstructured playtime throughout all of childhood to reduce stress, foster creativity, and provide a true commitment to mental health through social, hands-on learning. With the rise of mental health problems among under-16s linked to smartphone addiction, an outdated school system, and greater isolation, now is the time for change. Together, we can create a future where every child has the freedom to play, explore and thrive in an environment that genuinely supports their well-being.

Exciting News! ✨ Earlier this month, we had the honour of giving witness to a panel led by social entrepreneur Paul Lindley, founder of Ella’s Kitchen, Anne Longfield from the Centre for Young Lives, and many inspiring and thoughtful experts from diverse fields.
